Technical Operation Centre Schragenhofstraße, Munich

Project Description

The scope of the project included the design of a technical operating centre for the central department of Civil Engineering of the City of Munich.
The premises comprises the “warm house” including the administration, several workshops, a high rack warehouse and the traffic control centre and the “cold house” with parking decks with 149 spaces for trucks and passenger cars, a crane and a storage hall, as well as the open-air storage area.

- “Warm house”:
3.750 m² office space, 1.460 m² storage space, 1.700 m² workshop area

Control centre and workshops as solid constructions, heated high rack warehouse as steel frame structure.

- “Cold house”:
1.700 m² truck- and 4.500m² car parking positions on three parking levels, 1.050 m² unheated storage,  630 m² crane hall in steel and composite construction.

- “Magistrale”:
1400 m² glass roofing with integrated solar panels located in between the two buildings
