Project Description

In the course of extension, refurbishment, and renovation of the existing building “Auf den Haigst 14” in Stuttgart, firstly the gross floor area of the multi-story residential building was increased by 25%, and secondly, floor plan configurations and functions were adjusted to modern requirements.

The structural engineering and design contributed significantly to the success of the project by analysis of intermediate construction states, the engineering and design of several window-extensions consisting of light steelwork and titanium zinc claddings, the design checks of modified load paths in the building, and finally the analysis and design a modified roof structure.
