Ernst-Barlach School, Munich

Project Description

New construction of an elementary- and primary-school for physically disabled schoolchildren on behalf of the Pfennigparade foundation.

The building is realized as a three-story reinforced-concrete skeleton-structure with a building plan nearly shaped as an annular ring with a diameter of approx. 47 m.

The construction includes an underground parking garage with a greening area on top and a roof structure executed as a steel-glass construction.

Barrier-free access of all floors is achieved by a spiral ramp consisting of a light steel-construction.
